In this episode of Muziki Ni, we follow Ghana’s Atongo Zimba and his two-stringed calabash lute.  Atonga demonstrates how praising, cajoling, poking fun and social critique function as tools in his unique blend of traditional and “Highlife” music.   He recalls playing his banjo-like lute as an opening act for the late Fela Kuti.
