Nigerian curator Okwui Enwezor is the first ever African curator of the Venice biennale, the major art exhibition in Europe with 120 year history. He’s gathered the weirdest kinds of contemporary art from across the globe including Africa, astonishing visitors of the recently opened art show.

From metal Jesus to giant gas mask and cigarettes inserted in private parts – weirdest art objects from across the globe including Africa are on display at one of the largest art exhibition in Europe – the Venice biennale. The 56th International art exhibition in Venice gathered works by 136 artists from 53 countries including Nigeria. Besides that, for the first time in its 120 year history, this event is curated by a person from Africa – Nigerian curator Okwui Enwezor.
