• 6 cups boiling water
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 cups maize meal
  • Salt & pepper to taste


Pour maize meal into salted boiling water and stir in thoroughly, begin whisking immediately.

Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes with lid on, stirring often with a wooden spoon to a stiff porridge consistency.
