Fish Pepper Soup


  • 1 whole cleaned tilapia
  • ½ puna yam
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose seasoning
  • 1 tsp pepper soup seasoning
  • ½ liter water
  • 1 tbsp ground chili pepper
  • 1 tbsp crayfish



Cut tilapia into medium-sized chunks and wash.

Place into a bowl, season with ½ tablespoon of all-purpose seasoning and 1 teaspoon pepper soup seasoning.

Set aside.

Cut yam into medium-sized cubes.

Rinse and place chopped yam in a bowl of cold water.

Set aside.

Pour half a liter of water into a pot and bring to boil.

Add the tilapia mixture with ground chili pepper, crayfish, and yam with the remaining all-purpose seasoning.

Bring to boil for 10 to 15 minutes, then reduce to medium heat.

Stir occasionally to ensure that all the ingredients mix well.

Add tilapia and cook for another 15 minutes.

Serve while hot in soup bowl.
