WTF?! Chibok Girls Still Missing One Year Later
Members of the #BringBackOurGirls team on Tuesday in Abuja called on the United Nations to deploy its relevant instruments to ensuring the prompt rescue of the over 200 female students of Government Secondary School in Chibok, Borno State, and improve the security situation in the country.
They also pleaded with UN to “escalate and process the request of the Chibok nation for the help of independent private investigators.”
The leader of the team and former Minister of Education, Mrs. Oby Ezekwesili, tabled the demands in a statement read on her behalf by a group member, Ms. Maureen Kabrick, after concluding a protest march by #ChibokGirlsAmbassadors in commemoration of the one year anniversary of the abduction of Chibok girls.
