    Kiran collects an egg at an ostrich farm outside of Nairobi, then travels to Mara to immerse himself in the cattle-raising culture of the Maasai.

    In the rice paddies of Embu, Kiran joins the harvest and assists a duck hunter who provides him with a variety of fowl for a field dinner and to take back to his Nairobi restaurant.

    Kiran heads to a mirror lake in Naivasha to catch some Louisiana Crayfish and stops by one of Kenya’s most prolific wineries.

    Kiran goes into the bush near Machakos where he learns from a beekeeper how to use honey to trap a Guinea Fowl, Kenya’s equivalent of wild chicken.

    Mud Crabs
    Kiran visits the coastal town of Malindi and learns how to hunt in the mud for crabs, gather fresh tamarind pods, and fry up Kenyan donuts, known as “mandazi.”
