Shuga
Shuga explores the issues of sexual relationships among urban youth against a background of continuing HIV/AIDS infections. It examines the ramifications of sexual decisions on the lives of young people and their partners and loved ones. The drama format is a powerful medium to put across important lifestyle messages to educate and engage young people.
Shuga’s cast include actress/producer/director Lupita Nyong’o, reality show star and recording artist Valerie Kimani, with established actors Anthony Mwangi and Nicolas Mutuma. Also starring is acclaimed South African actor Tumisho Masha with Cameo appearances from Kenya’s hottest young talents including P Unit, Nonini, Nameless, Juilianni, Jimmy Gate and DJ Adrian.
