African Ancestry
The Africa Channel uses “African Ancestry” DNA tests to determine the African Ancestry of African American celebrities and then goes with them to their newly discovered homeland in Africa for the first time. The series kicks off with a special 2-hour program profiling actor/philanthropist, Isaiah Washington, who became the first African American to be granted dual citizenship in his ancestral homeland of Sierra Leone based on his DNA results. |
