Nobody Can Develop Ghana Better, Except Ghanaians…
He said here in Takoradi in the Western Region (Province) capital, 218 kms west of Accra during a courtesy call on him at his palace by members of the Institute of Financial and Economic Journalists (IFEJ).
The journalists, numbering thirty, selected from various media outlets were in a sensitization tour in the region to obtain firsthand information on the impact of oil drilling and gas processing on the livelihood of the communities in the catchment areas.
Ghana, after 58 years of attaining statehood he emphasized had not done so well as a result of the absence of a coherent national development plan.
He said, “Nobody can develop Ghana except Ghanaians. We must have an overall development agenda which we will all pursue.”
