Nigeria: Schools to Reopen Following Ebola Preventative Measures
Lagos — Public schools in Lagos State reopened yesterday, with sessions on the Ebola virus and personal hygiene.
Our correspondent, who visited some public primary and secondary schools in Lagos metropolis, observed that the state government has put in place measures to check the spread of the disease.
In two of the schools visited, Majidun Senior Secondary school and Ipakodo Grammar School in Ikorodu, it was observed that shortly after the students body temperatures were taken at the entrance, they proceeded to wash their hands. They later converged on their Assembly halls, where talks were given on the virus.
