Miss World Zimbabwe Crowned
Newly-crowned Miss World Zimbabwe Emily Katanga Kachote says the secret behind her victory at Mermaids Pool in Shamva over the weekend was a combination of hard work and confidence.
The 25-year-old financial advisor said she worked hard in preparing for the contest and believed she would win, even before she walked the ramp.
Ann-Grace Mutambu (19), came out as first princess while Chengetai Kanonhuwa (18) was the second princess.
Speaking shortly after being crowned Miss World Zimbabwe, Kachote said she had worked hard to achieve that goal and it was no surprise to her that she won.
“I came here believing. There was no point coming with the belief that someone else was going to take the crown.
