Hundreds Turn Up for the East African Carnival!
Easter Monday saw hordes of Gagamel fans fill up Kiwatule Recreation Centre for the annual East African Carnival. They turned up in large numbers regardless of the insecurity that has been making rounds.
The show kicked off at around 7pm with different upcoming artistes entertaining the revelers.
But major performances kicked off with Haruna Mubiru who was a darling to many; people cheered on as he performed a catalogue of his songs.
Later on, Fina Mugerwa, aka Masanyalaze, charged the audience with her electric performances. She showed that she still has her energy intact as she danced tirelessly.
Amidst the show, one of the emcees, Omulangila Ndausi would later step forward and mock other musical camps, like Bobi Wine’s camp.
Of course, Gagamel fans clapped happily as Ndausi mocked on.
Other performances came from Santana, Keko, GNL Zamba, Mun*G, King Michael, Irene Ntale, Big Eye among others.
The much-awaited moment came at midnight as Bebe Cool, clad in dark shades, black t-shirt and black jeans, stepped on stage.
The crowd literally held their breath as their idol performed alongside his band.
He performed some of his popular songs that ranged from Agenze to one of his latest, Love You Every Day.
His fans, unsurprisingly, sang along to every song he performed.
The show ended at around 1am.
