The Africa Channel Launch Event In Memphis, Tennesee On April 16, 2008, executives of The Africa Channel, the Comcast affiliate in Memphis, Tennessee, VIPs, and local dignitaries gathered at the Brooks Museum of Art to celebrate the launch of The Africa Channel in Memphis. The evening was authentically African from the sumptuous cuisine to the unforgettable performances representing Africa's strong presence in the area's local cultural scene.
